Not every matter should be pushed into a paid consultation. Where useful general information is the right first step, the platform should say so.
Professional advice stays professional
Just Talk Law is not a law firm. Legal advice during a consultation comes from the independent solicitor or firm and remains their professional responsibility.
Context matters
The aim is to understand the type of problem, relevant circumstances and location before presenting appropriate participating solicitors.
After the consultation
If a client chooses to instruct the solicitor afterwards, the ongoing retainer and legal work are directly between the client and that solicitor or firm.
